Lima - Arequipa & Cusco

Day 1: Lima

Arrive to the airport of Lima, reception and transfer to the hotel.

Day 2: Lima - Arequipa

Meet at the hotel for your transfer to the airport, departure to the City of Arequipa.

Arrival, reception and transfer to the hotel.

Rest of the morning free to acclimatize to the altitude.

In the afternoon, the tour will begin with the visit of the City of Arequipa that includes: St.Lazarus district, the Mirador de Volcanes (Panoramic Viewpoint Volcanos), Chilina Valley, and the colonial area of Yanahuara. The Monastery of Santa Catalina (almost a small city with streets and squares built to accommodate the daughters of the most distinguished Spanish families who had a religious vocation), the Historic Center of Arequipa and the architectural complex of the Society of Jesus, church and cloisters.

Return to the hotel. Overnight.

Day 3: Arequipa - Cusco

Meet at the hotel for your transfer to the airport, departure to the City of Cusco.

Arrival, reception and transfer to the hotel.

In the afternoon visit of the city and surrounding ruins, the tour includes: Plaza Mayor, The Cathedral, Temple of Koricancha, continuing with the visit of the Archaeological Park of Sacsayhuaman: Kenko, with its underground galleries and semicircular amphitheater; Tambomachay, where emphasizes their system of aqueducts, canals and waterfalls and Sacsayhuaman, imposing example of Inca military architecture built using large blocks of stone.

Return to the hotel. Overnight

Day 4: Cusco - Machu Picchu - Cusco

In the morning, meet at the hotel and transfer to the train station to board the Vistadome / Executive or Expedition Train (see conditions) for your excursion to the Lost City of the Incas. Arriving to the train station of Aguas Calientes, our guide will be waiting for you to begin the excursion, after a 30-minute tour bus will arrived at the top of the mountain, where is the archaeological complex of Machu Picchu, guided tour through the most important sectors, streets, squares and temples. At the time previously agreed with the guide, return by bus to Aguas Calientes for lunch at the restaurant of Hatuchay Tower Hotel or similar, after lunch board back to Cusco, arrival to the train station. Reception and transfer to the hotel.

Day 5: Cusco - Sacred Valley - Cusco

Meet at the hotel for your full day excursion to the Sacred Valley of the Incas, where you will visit the colorful Indian Market in Pisac where you can appreciate a mixture of color, tradition and people.  At an altitude of 2,970 m (9,700 ft.), Pisac is located in the entrance of the Sacred Valley. Buffet Lunch at a local restaurant

Then we will visit the Fortress of Ollantaytambo, the oldest village of the American Continent nowadays occupied. 

Return to the hotel. Overnight

Day 6: Cusco - Lima

Meet at the hotel for your transfer to the airport, departure to the City of Lima.

Arrival, reception and transfer to the hotel.

In the afternoon meet at the hotel for a visit to the City of Lima, from Pre-Columbian Era to Contemporary, departure to the Historic Center of Lima, where emphasizes the architecture and urban design from the colonial period, old streets where you can appreciate mansions with Moorish style balconies. Our route includes: Paseo de la República, Plaza San Martin and the Plaza Mayor, with their different buildings: the Government Palace, the Archbishop’s Palace, the Cathedral, and City Hall among others, besides the visit of the Monastery of San Francisco, the largest exhibition of colonial religious art in America. 

On the way back to the hotel, sight of the traditional residential areas of the capital, ending at Larcomar shopping mall.

Return to the hotel. Overnight.

Day 7: Lima

At proper time meet at the hotel for your transfer to the airport.
